Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to every Engine Zone order.
These terms apply to all purchases from Engine Zone (enginezone.com.au). By placing an order you agree to them.
Orders and fitment
All engines are sold subject to a free VIN fitment check. We may cancel and fully refund an order if fitment cannot be confirmed or stock is unavailable. Prices are in Australian dollars.
Delivery
Delivery is free within Australia and engines are dispatched securely crated. Please inspect the crate on arrival, note any transit damage on the delivery paperwork and notify us within 48 hours on 1300 200 320.
Installation
Engines must be installed by a qualified mechanic. Proper installation — including a flushed and refilled cooling system, fresh oil and filter, and correct torque procedures — is a condition of warranty.
Warranty
Every engine carries a 12-month or 50,000 km parts warranty, whichever comes first, as set out on our Warranty page. The warranty is a parts warranty only. To the extent permitted by law, it does not cover freight, labour, or any other expenses incurred in remedying a defect in the engine — including towing, vehicle hire, consumables, and workshop or removal and refitting charges. Every engine is fitted with a heat tab, and overheating damage or damage from incorrect installation is not covered.
Returns
Returns are handled under our Refund & Returns Policy, including a 25% restocking fee for change-of-mind returns of unused, unfitted engines.
Consumer law and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes any right or guarantee that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the goods or a refund of the price paid.
